THE SEAT PAVILION

Web Content Display Web Content Display

The SEAT brand originated on the Iberian Peninsula. In keeping with the theme, you’ll first need to cross a wooden bridge to get to the SEAT pavilion. The pavilion itself is designed after Spain’s geographic profile. The huge wall of red wing mirrors at the entrance to the building creates a striking contrast to the building’s sensual white curves. Have a guess at how many wing mirrors there are ... (Three hundred and forty-nine)

FOLLOW THE SUN

A breathtakingly enormous live cityscape of Barcelona greets you as you pass the entrance – the sun rises and sets over the city in a monumental video projection of 630,000 snapshots.

Fast and powerful: Vehicles currently on show in the SEAT Pavilion

We are currently showing you particularly dynamic models from the SEAT and CUPRA brands. With the LEON Sportstourer FR 1.4 e-HYBRID we are presenting a model with the acronym "FR" in its name. SEAT's "FR" acronym stands for "Formula Racing" and is used to vehicles that are distinctively sporty in terms of their design and features. Like most hybrids, it recharges the battery automatically. But it’s a plug-in model too. This means it uses its electric motor first, only resorting to the petrol motor for extra power. You should also have a closer look at the full electric CUPRA BORN (electricity consumption in kWh/100 km: 17,5 - 15,8 (combined); CO2-emissions in g/km (combined): 0) and the CUPRA Ateca (fuel consumption l/100km: 8,9 (combined); CO2-emissions combined, g/km: 202) . The aluminium-look sports pedals and the alcantara-covered bucket seats are representative examples of the CUPRA philosophy: motor sport and lifestyle.

EXPERIENCE DESIGN

The exhibition focuses on fascinating technology and dynamic design – in addition to the incomparable Spanish lifestyle. And it’s all there to be experienced interactively: use a configurator to equip a SEAT or CUPRA model to your own taste. Or follow the complex design process using 360° video mapping on a vehicle surface.
